Good morning KidsLife!   

Tabitha, a devoted Christian noted for her acts of charity, dies. As her body is prepared for burial, Peter is sent for—in hopes for a miracle. In Acts, Christ’s life is reenacted in the life of the disciples, so just as Jesus raised a synagogue leader’s daughter, now Peter raises Tabitha from the dead. This story is an opportunity to witness the impact of one of the saints on the life of the faith community, and to illustrate how all these newly devoted followers of Jesus lived life together in community.
